Summer brings a huge opportunity to stage a Shakespeare play for Timothy, Gertie, Amy, and Samantha. It also ushers in a series of conflicts, emotions, and fears. Timothy is a sixty plus movie star and director at odds with life. Amy, his sister, has devoted her life to her kids after ending her fledgling screenwriter career. Samantha, her daughter, fled New York because of TikTok pressures. Gertie just desires to go back to her training and do Shakespeare. As their lives interact, secrets come to light causing eruptions of long held emotions. A really great read.
