The Cowboy's Christmas Truce by Kyra Jacobs

A long time family feud forced young friends Jaxon and Charlotte to part friendship. Joining together again, they find purpose and love even though her gruff, unforgiving father will not like it and belittle her unceasingly. A pleasing story of a second chance at friendship and bigger chance at love.

A Christmas Baby for the Cowboy by Megan Crane

This is a fabulous book. Ms Crane has such a way with words and characters that grab you tightly. The way she gives each character its own chapter-all the thoughts, feelings and reactions-is so on point. Each character grows more and more defined.

This story is of Knox Carey and Dr. Ramona Taylor, a second chance at a lasting relationship at last or not. He is the last unattached son of Zeke Carey who has feigned cancer to force his boys to get serious about marriage. It is a tremendous story of love and denial.

Christmas with the Cowgirl by Justine Davis

A winning story that gently carries you to the heart of a man and the woman who grows in it. Both Miles and Riley were struck with each other the moment their eyes met. As they form a relationship, they begin to see more in each other to relish. But, his life is in Los Angeles and hers is in Last Stand. Maybe, just maybe, things would be different.

The Monday Night Heartbreak Club by Jane Lovering

A captivating story develops when four women and two men form a club for victims of heartbreak at a local wine bar. The women all have a story to tell about breakups, one man has never had a girlfriend and the other man, the bar owner, has a story he keeps to himself. A delightful story of friendship and love with one explosive former boyfriend.

And the Crowd Went Wild by Suzanne Elizabeth Phillips

An inviting novel. Clashes of personality erupt when a distressed actress’ drunken display of behavior causes her to run-to the home of her high school love. Unfortunately, she broke his heart and it is hardened against her. Fate comes into action as the story progresses, throwing them both into turmoil.

A Christmas to Remember by Cassidy Carter

Irresistible romance to love. The Cabin in the Pines resort is gearing up for the Christmas Wonderland when Dr. Ella Brent-Collingsworth arrives to visit her sister. Her car hits Jack Allen, the Pines investor and they are off on the wrong foot of assumptions. There is more to them than good looks and as they clash, they begin to meld.

Bitter Past by CJ Carmichael

Wow! Twists and turns galore as Sheriff Zak works to uncover the mysterious and coincidental death by car accident of his old friend, Brent. Olivis, Brent’s wife, enlists her journalist sister to find the truth of Brent’s accident. Great crime novel.

The Sheriff's Mistletoe Bride by Debra Holt

My heart is still warm and full from this story. There is love and genuine acceptance on every page of the ways in which Destiny’s River welcomes Ally into their fold. Plus, Sheriff Matt and his adorable daughter Jillie become very important to Ally. But, her tentative plan is to leave after she completes a Will designated task. Can Matt and Jillie persuade her to stay?

Destination Christmas by Candice Y. Johnson

Cuter than ever story. Love, contention, and Christmas flow from the pages, trial and error, too. It is a story to just enjoy.

Otherwise Engaged by Susan Mallery

Captivating story of mothers and daughters, their relationships, and learning to stand on their own two feet. Depressing at times due to the strife that presents itself when two former friends run into each other and their daughters after a years’ long estrangement. The cause of the separation causes problems for both the mothers and the daughters when it all comes out.

The Memory Gardener by Meg Donahue

A purely magical story filled with love and relationships. The central character is a special gardener whose touch brings gardens to life and memories to flow. She is engaged at a long ago manor now a retirement apartment home. The home has a variety of people living in boredom until she is hired to clean up the five ancient and neglected gardens. Miracles appear as the residents regain their excitement at living through her happy personality. Trouble lurks on the horizon for the residents.

The House on Mountain Laurel Lane by Eileen Goudge

I have enjoyed novels by Ms Goudge for many years. Her writing is exceptional as are her characters. This novel is an excellent combination of lost love through widowhood and found love’s footing through an older man who shows compassion and the steadiness of age. A lovely story.

Mad Mabel by Sally Hepworth

An endearing and often funny story of an 81 year old woman and the events that happen after she finds her neighbor dead of natural causes. Her nickname has been Mad Mabel since she was a child due to circumstances that occurred during her life. Two young podcasters learn of her history and convince her to tell her side of the stories.

Dog Person by Camille Pagan

Cute story of an aged dog determined to find love for his master who is mired in grief. Together they meet the perfect woman but the master and the woman get off on the wrong foot. It is somehow up to the dog to get them to see the light. The dog’s musings are so funny.
