Issues of trust abound in this novel of love that could be
if only. McKenna has trust issues stemming from her mentally abusive,
narcissistic ex-husband. Brodie had a problematic romance in his last job that
led him to leave it and return to Marietta. Both need their jobs together on a
ranch and love and romance might get in the way and ruin it for both of them.
