This is a fabulous book for late teens and anyone else! It
is a well executed and interesting read on the coming of age of a young girl
who has lived a life being submissive to an over bearing father and a
submissive mother. When her father is sent to prison for tax evasion and she is
sent to her cousin’s for the summer to work at a wilderness/team building camp,
she finds her voice and embraces it. I loved all the different affirming quotes
that she saves.
