This is a
crazy book and I loved it! Trudy Johnson lives a sad life: no money, a bad
factory job, sad living conditions. She meets a daredevil in the making, Jules
Tremblay, who is planning to do a crazy car jump over the local river. He is in
no better shape than she is but there is something about him that draws Trudy
to him. Enter the world of mishaps and adventures for Trudy, Jules, Claire
(Trudy’s mother), and Mercy (Trudy’s niece). Plus, Trudy’s long gone sister
returns and all hell breaks loose.
