All the Men I've Loved Before by Christine Pride

A rather long and sometimes tedious novel recounting the loves of Cora Belle. When she goes to college, she is determined to break out of her sheltered life and truly experience life. She meets and falls in love with Lincoln. He is a young man from a very poor background and determined to make a life in politics. He is in her life continually, even after they break up. Cora also meets Aaron and also falls in love with him. The story traces her meetings and interactions with both men as she finally (twenty years later) decides which one she truly belongs with.

The Summer House by Lauren K. Denton

A marvelous novel that will make you laugh and hold your heart. The aches and pains of life are carefully crafted, showing a deep understanding of the characters of Rose and Lily. Rawlins and Coach are described lovingly, each with an undercurrent of feelings for Lily and Rose. A lovely Lauren K. Denton novel.

The Twin by Amanda Brookfield

A story jammed packed with emotional chapters. The death of Catherine’s twin and Oliver’s half-brother brings to the surface the strife, anger and deeply held emotions of both Catherine and Oliver. The story traces their journeys to wholeness, a journey rife with intensity and coldness. A powerful story of how a very dysfunctional family seriously impacted its members.

Hopelessly Teavoted by Audrey Goldberg Ruoff

A witchingly cute novel of deep love finding its true home and of devil curses spoiling love and its dependency on touch. It is a long endearing love of Azraelfor Vikki and of her indecision about her love for him. The story is long and very rewarding. Saucy scenes.

We Met Like This by Kasie West

An adorable and enjoyable novel on all levels. The characters of Oliver and Margot are terrific together. Their dialog is snarky and, at times, deep. Ms. West’s move into adult story lines from young adult is smart and well developed.

The Homemade God by Rachel Joyce

I have not as of yet posted a novel I have neither finished nor reviewed. My thoughts are now that this will change.
This novel sounded good but nothing captured my interest after several chapters I waded through. The plot was boring. The adult children were whiny and immature. It was an unbearable read.

Heart Strings by Ivy Fairbanks

A touching novel of a second chance at love for a med student and an up and coming musician. There are fears and problems to overcome if their love is strong enough to bear it.

Under the Stars by Beatriz Williams

Another fantastic novel by Ms. Williams. An epic novel covering two stories-one of a shipwreck in the 1700s and the second of the difficult relationship of an actress mother and her daughter. The creative tying together of the stories is wonderful. The colors of the story are breathtaking, making it hard to put down. A definite novel not to miss.

Our Last Vineyard Summer by Brooke Lea Foster

A captivating story of a complicated family of a mother and her three daughters. It is a recounting of the past converging on the present with deeply held secrets, ruined relationships, and lessons. The mother, Virgie, is the wife of a recently deceased senator. Their second vacation home on Martha’s Vineyard needs to be sold due to his debts. The sorrow of the daughters at the thought of selling the house brings secrets out into the open, shattering long held images and beliefs.
