The synopsis for this book sounded terrific: a hexed witch falls in love but the hex means that the one she loves is doomed. It is a cute story but, to me, had more spicy scenes than needed. If you crave and are a devotee of spiciness, you will be delighted with this book. I just felt it detoured too much from the story.

An inviting and cute story to love. Ever and Paisley met on a stormy night when love was hiding behind the clouds and not just ready to appear. They rescued each other in a time of need and stuck it out through trials and tribulations. Their story is so engaging and so it the book.
A great cozy mystery with all sorts of suspects to a murder by a hungry alligator. Whodunit fun and I laughed out loud in some parts. I thoroughly enjoyed the suspects: a vampire look alike, a questionable seer, a chef with an acid temper, and Rambo, the owner of the alligator.
I highly recommend this crazy and fun book.
Triplet witches Anne, Beatrix, and Violet own a Chicago tearoom which the three run smoothly due to being always insync. However, things are changing for them and their secrets are damaging their easy flow. The story is told by all three as they navigate through rough terrain. A very enthralling novel.
I just love stories like this that spring from a deep need to help someone. In this story, it is a lonely, worried widower whose young son has retreated into himself with grief over losing his mom. The man, Jackson, leaves the glitter of Los Angeles and a hit western to go to his sister’s
home in Texas. He meets a special horse trainer who brings joy back into both Jackson’s and his son’s eyes. A simply captivating story all through.

A very intense thriller which will hook you right away. In this Cork O’Connor series book, Cork’s family is intricately involved in a murder mystery when the knowing sight of his grandson leads to a shallow grave of a Native girl. From there the story twists around an old cabin, a blueberry patch and the possibility that the dead girl is part of something more. Within the story, the harmony and beauty of Ojibwe beliefs and customs creates a balance to the horror of the deaths.
Another incredible story of the Careys of Cowboy Point series. Zeke Carey, patriarch of the Carey family, wants his sons married and producing grandbabies. Wilder is the son whose behavior reflects his reputation until he runs into CAt Lisle and the world turns upside down. It is especially crazy love as her family and the Carey family have had a longtime feud. Fun times lay ahead for Wilder and Cat.
This is a definite, you will not figure it out thriller. I had to stop reading it before bed because it was so scary. Murder. Puzzles. Clues. All are present in the story but where exactly do they lead? If you love compelling murder stories, I recommend The Choice.
