This thriller will leave you absolutely breathless. It is intense. A teen girl is abducted and taken to a compound littered with evil. She mysteriously re-emerges two years later having escaped. Her own story of what happened is told in her voice but not to the investigating officer. The officer searches through the measly clues to try and find the abductor, running into walls she must destroy. It will keep you at the edge of your seat.




 

Summers at the Saint by Mary Kay Andrews

 


The Saint luxury hotel is in financial trouble and CEO Traci Eddings is creative in ways to resurrect the hotel. Her ideas for staffing the much needed positions leads to some wonderful relationships but also big trouble, deceit, and murder. A truly exciting novel that moves along  quickly. 




Emma Madison, Master Meddler by Pat McDermott Michener

 


Such a fantastic book!There are over one hundred chapters and each one adds immensely to the stories of several people in the gossipy small Canadian town of Medford. The stories are interlinked by those of Jasmine and her great aunt Emma. Sorrows, deep regrets, love, and rekindled love work through the pages. I thoroughly enjoyed this book so very much.



The Echo by Melinda Di Lorenzo

 


My heart is still beating fast after finishing this book. It is crazy good and a true nail biting thriller. A young woman believes her sister’s death was not an accident. As she uncovers clues with the husband of an also killed woman, things begin to clear then muddy. Such an exciting novel.

The Eight Second Wedding by Anne McAllister


Mothers conspire to put their kids together and married. The kids are a doctoral candidate and a bull rider with no commonality. Slowly, as they travel together in an RV from one rodeo to the next, their romance is tenderly crafted by the author. Both are surprised by the relationship that grows. A very delightful story.

A murder on an elite cruise ship leads sisters Charlotte and Jane to investigate the murder, endangering themselves in the process. It is all hands on deck waiting and worried while far at sea. A good murder whodunit.

Annie is left to rein in the chaos of family and work when her husband leaves for Paris on a teacher semester abroad.
