A nice tale of love entering two hearts on a Greek island. The backstories are repetitious at times, developing the story of each life. Parts seemed rushed while other parts dragged.

Oh, my! Such a more than lovely story of friendship and love that exists within a story of wishes and hopes, fear and longing. The tale of Josie and Easton began when they were children, forming a lasting friendship that new, existing circumstances would burst into and bring challenges to face.

The Memory of Us by Dani Atkins

 

A story that will bring sadness and joy as it progresses. An apparent accident in mudflats, a created memory, and the diagnosis of a health problem are blended together and form the basis for the struggles between sisters. The connection of the sisters is deep and their ability to sense each other is stirring. 

The Summer Book Club by Susan Mallery

 

Three women friends, each battling past relationship failures, find compassion and  truth in each other. Their heartfelt conversations bring flavor and sage advice to the story. Not all problems have a pat answer and much soul searching is necessary.

I truly enjoyed this story while watching the women grow and develop into whole persons.

Years have passed since the  long friendship of two women blew up. They reunite testily with issues to resolve. Meanwhile, their daughters connect and become friends without knowing the trouble between the friends

This is an unforgettable story of the power of friendship and the impact it makes on one’s life.

This novel is part of The Coyote Cowboys of Montana series and all of the books are fabulous. This story is one of immediate attraction and chemistry that battles rotten upbringings and insecurities. There are so many troubles that exist to thwart happiness and jam up the road to love. The love formed is one to savor.

A lovely, lovely story of lasting love that endures for years with time lost and recovered. The relationship of Finn and Liv is one built on his summers in her town, each yearning for more time together but circumstances not allowing. Truly a love story of the ages.

A very engrossing look at the many ways people’s lives and outlooks morph over one week of wedding activities. One woman intent on suicide interacts with the wedding party members and guests, impacting everyone and herself. Lost love and found love, secret feelings, and family woes pepper the pages, giving insight to the characters.
