All that We Are by Mariah Stewart

Long time friends, family, and love weave a wonderful pattern in this novel. In the third Wyndham Beach novel, Emma relies on her friends Libby and Maggie to help her through turmoil on many fronts. Every day brings joy from her maybe granddaughter Winnie and her tasks to open the summer artists program. Just when everything is right at the same time, it is not.

A thoroughly enjoyable and charming story.

In the Orchard by Eliza Minot

An interesting novel of the thoughts of Maisie on motherhood, children, and life in general. The musings take place over one day . It is rather a stream of thoughts similar to one’s own thoughts during the day, jumping from one thought to another and rabbit trailing. Memories of her childhood, of conversations with other mothers and events in her children’s lives trail through her mind. Be sure to look for small clues that will help to understand the ending.

The Cowboy's Christmas Baby by Paula Altenburg

A Christmas story to warm your heart in any season. The story of Miles and Tate and baby Iris is one of developing trust and love. Miles has a baby (his) dropped in his lap. Tate is in need of work and applies to be Iris’s babysitter. Miles was her tween fan favorite bull rider crush and even with his accident marred face she is still crushing. It is a job from her dreams and he is so much more in real life.

The Xmas Club by Lenora Worth

A Christmas story that will touch your heart in many ways. Cullen has returned to the small town that shunned him to show that he is somebody now. He devises an X-mas Club with the intention of bringing together people who are alone on Christmas and not particularly fond of the holiday. He does not want to spend Christmas alone and finds so much more with this club. Three specially chosen people and one person by accident come together and in the process, each has the dreariness and sadness of Christmas bettered through each other.
The unintended person is Veronica. Her presence has a deep effect on Cullen and on herself. It is a story of forgiveness, of emotions, and love.

My Christmas with You

Second chance romances are so wonderful to read, especially when there are a myriad of problems to overcome. For Mabel and Danny, their teen love still thrives even with fifteen years in between. They have a lot to resolve, though, and it might not a be meant to be love for them.

The Christmas Blueprint by Sinclair Jayne

Two years have passed since Sophia’s fiance died and she is on a course to rebuild her life. All she wants to do is move forward without the meddling of her family. She has big plans for her small town to reinvent a vacant mill. Killian returns home to help his friend and to do a one year stint as city planner. Sophia and Killian always have had something between them. Their teaming up to renovate the mill challenges their feelings in this absolutely wonderful story.

The Witch of Tin Mountain by Paulette Kennedy

A tapestry of the endurance and strength against an evil force who brings his devil means to three generations of witches. Seeking a witch to spawn offspring, he pervades their lives causing mayhem and evil.

The stories of Annaliese, Diedre, and Gracelyn are each their own, bound by machinations of a devil pastor. An unforgettable novel that will completely captivate until the end.

Before I Do by Sophie Cousens

The story of Audrey and all of the wonderful and horrible events of her young adulthood she carries inside her like an old carpet bag is one of love, of fantasy and of hurts. Vignettes of her past in three different frames describe the contents of her carpet bag and the whys of her emotions on the eve of and her wedding day. Emotional on many levels, very well written, and interesting characters.

Santa Maybe by Mary Jane Baker

An imaginative story of a young woman, a young man, and an entitled man that learn through the wisdom of Santas and Christmas to find true love and a different reality. It is a cute story with great characters.

The Maze by Nelson DeMille

One of the best police thrillers I have read. There is raunchy humor, innocent and not so innocent characters, and a story that parallels the title. Numerous egos are on the pages, especially that of John Corey-a danger junkie and thrill lover. Great novel.

Wishing for Mr. Right by Sarah Vance -Tompkins

One of the sweetest romances I have read in a while. The local “tomcat” and “just for the summer” city girl both wish on the harvest moon for someone to love. They find each other and wonder if their wishes brought them together because it sure feels like it.

Just like Magic by Sarah Hogle

Such a fun and delightful novel! Bettie is in a real “I am broke. I am finished. I’ve been humiliated” state. When a Christmas song misplays on her turntable, everything gets crazy. The Holiday Spirit appears (he is simply gorgeous and adorable) and her life takes a comical series or turns, wishes, and family encounters.

The Christmas Concierge by Beth Kendrick

Holiday magic is everywhere with love falling like snowflakes in a warm and fuzzy story,

Holiday is a Christmas wish granter for elite customers. Her last wish of the season may disrupt her own Christmas plans. She forges ahead to complete it and still get home for Christmas. Holiday ends up in Maine to arrange a blind date for unsuspecting Alex. His Christmas wish brings adventure, fun, and love.

A Country Christmas by Fiona Marsden

The trajectory of life can change in a moment as Gio and Moira discovered. A fling caused pregnancy, an ill timed wedding proposal, and a miscarriage caused Moira to run from Gio’s life. When both of them find themselves reunited, his twelve year old daughter, Emilia, is determined to keep them from a relationship.

The tension, fears, and hurts of Moira, Gio, and Emilia converge to form a sensitive novel of learning the give and take of relationships.

The Summer Sister by Muna Shehadi

An accidental find while sorting through cartons of family memories shocks three sisters. Two sisters deny what could be true. One sister, Rosalind, sets out to discover the truth-who is her real mother. Years of her parent’s secret and a discovery of a name lead her to another family.

This is the story of her journey, of her preconceived notions, and of finding love along the way. It is an intriguing story of how life is not always what it seems to be.

A Year at the French Farmhouse by Gillian Harvey

A lovely story of a married woman who chooses her direction in life while at a crossroad. Lily has long yearned to move from England to France. She believed her husband wanted it, too. When the opportunity finally arises, he bails. Lily leaves him for France and finds herself in a whole new world. She does not think her husband will ever join her and embarks on her journey of self-discovery and of growth.

A Brighter Flame by Christine Nolfi

A positively wonderful novel with characters written descriptively and consistently. The story of warring sisters always at odds with each other is tastefully done bringing the “Whys” of their estrangement to the forefront. Well worth your reading time and pleasure.

Beneath the Sapphire Sky by Dakota Harrison

Such a tender story of friends to lovers. Dante and Belle’s tale began when they were little and inseparable friends never crossing the friend’s line. Chances evolve into a night of passion so long desired by both. They are split apart, though, and neither is sure the damage is repairable.

A Boyfriend by Christmas by Jamie Rogers

Sweet, smart, and funny best describes this delightful novel. Teen friends then frenemies join together “to date.” Each has their own motive for pretending to date. However, the motives do not include falling for each other.

Swipe Right for Marriage by Sinclair Jayne Sawhney

Rakesh and Shanti have been competitors in most areas of high school and college. They have always had a very strong chemistry and it is still apparent after a ten year absence. Seeing a perfect opportunity, Rakesh decides it is time to wholeheartedly pursue Shanti and finally win her to him.

A terrific story full of tense moments, simmering and boiling over lust, a deepening love.
